Starting 2026
Existential Slips: Group Therapy
Join a small circle of existentially-curious individuals for a 6-week group therapy journey starting early 2026. During our weekly 60-minute sessions, we will intentionally slip down existential rabbit holes, exploring topics such as identity, meaning, regret, and existence––in other words, what it means to be human.
Who: A closed group of 4 individuals (Canada only).
When: 9:30am-10:30am on Thursday (virtually) OR 2-3pm on Wednesdays (in-person).
Cost: $300 for all 6-sessions. Receipts will be provided for insurance. Payment plans available.
This service is provided by Ariane Foucher, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO.
What is existential group therapy?
Each week, a specific existential theme is introduced (identity, meaning, regret, freedom, or existence) using a concept, brief reading, or guiding question. The therapist’s role is to guide the group through shared exploration of these topics. There is no preparation or homework required from participants.
As participants become more comfortable with each other, exploration of the here-and-now will be encouraged: we will start noticing and naming the interpersonal dynamics unfolding in the therapy room. The goals of this group are to increase self-awareness, foster authentic connection, and reduce existential isolation (by openly discussing existential concerns).
